The Campus Alberta Risk and Assurance committee (CARA) is a volunteer group representing Alberta’s 26 post-secondary institutions.
CARA is accountable to the Senior Business Officers Group which has representation from each post-secondary institution. CARA’s mandate is to foster collaboration and synergy and share best practices to elevate standards in enterprise risk management, emergency planning, health and safety, and audit practices across the sector while recognizing the distinct yet complementary roles each institution plays. This media campaign is designed to assist every post-secondary institution in improving its health and safety culture so everyone goes home safely each and every day.
